The Best Way to Network

A short musing to de-influence you

I’m grateful that I am known for my “network” and I am constantly asked how I have built a web of highly influential and intellectual individuals around me. I know some of the top entrepreneurs, lawyers, and doctors and always ‘know a guy.’ This question has always taken me by shock because I have never bothered to “network.” I have never attended conferences, or printed business cards to go around distributing to people, forcing them to shake my hand and remember my name. Conversations have flown effortlessly and relations have been built enthusiastically, I would like to credit most of this to social skills, but in this blog, I will try to articulate my top tips for networking well.
